Dr. Carrie Peterson, DDS
Dr. Peterson attended the University of Kansas as an undergraduate. After graduating from KU she attended the University of Missouri—Kansas City, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
She is a member of the Kansas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Peterson serves on the board of the Heartland Dental Study Club. She volunteers for Kansas Mission of Mercy and has served as a board member of the local planning committee for the KMOM event in her area of the state. She also donates time to the organization Kansas Dental Lifeline.
Raised in a small town in western Kansas called Hugoton, Dr. Peterson has always enjoyed the community of Holton and all her patients here. She enjoys dentistry because she enjoys seeing families, patients of all ages. She especially enjoys how dentistry is a combination of science, health, and art. Dr. Peterson is the mother of three children: Beau is in middle school while Presley and Claire are in elementary school. She and her husband Heath stay busy spending time with their children and their various activities. They also attend a lot of KU sporting events. In what little spare time she has, Dr. Peterson enjoys running, reading, and travelling.
